Reservations of up to 6 guests can be made online below. Please contact us should you wish to book for parties larger than this.

Please inform us at the time of booking if there are any food allergies, dietary requirements or food aversions in the party. We require a minimum of 24h notice to be able to cater for any such requirement.

We do not list every ingredient on our menu and do not keep additional produce at hand, therefore we are unable to cater for any such requirement without notice.

 Please add any relevant information to the ‘Notes’ when making your booking or contact us for further queries.

  • Embra is an independent, family-owned establishment with approximately 30 seats and as such, our continued viability relies heavily on reservations being honoured by our guests or sufficient notice being given of any changes to plans or reservations. Please contact us should you require to make any changes to your reservation. We will hold any reserved table for 15 minutes after booked time, please let us know at your earliest conveninence if you will be running late.

    Please note, due to the size of our venue, we do not have any bar seating or a waiting area for guests arriving early for their booking.

    For reservations before 6.30pm, we kindly ask for the table to be released in the time specified.

    DIETARY REQUIREMENTS & ALLERGIES

    Kindly inform us prior to your meal if you or your guests have any dietary requirements, food allergies or food aversions - we are unable to cater for these without a minimum of 24h notice. If you are unsure of your guests, kindly let them know to contact us directly to discuss any dietary requirements.

    Sadly, we are currently unable to provide a vegan menu.

    COVID-19

    In line with the current government guidelines, no facemasks are required on the premises. Any guests exhibiting Covid-19 symptoms are kindly asked to stay at home.

    CHILDREN

    We are happy to welcome children of all ages. Please note we do not have baby changing facilities or a separate childrens' menu. Please let us know at the time of booking should there be any younger diners joining us. Highchairs are available upon advance request.

    DISABLED ACCESS

    Embra is situated on a single level and has wheelchair access. Please let us know prior to your reservation if you require a table that is suitable for wheelchair access. Do feel free to contact us should you require further information. If we can do anything to make your visit more enjoyable, please feel free to contact us directly.

    TERMS & CONDITIONS

    By making a reservation, you agree to the following terms & conditions.

    Tables are allocated on the day by the restaurant team and although we will do everything we can to allocate a table in your preferred area of the dining room, we cannot always guarantee this.

    To secure all bookings we require credit/debit card details as a booking guarantee. THIS IS NOT A DEPOSIT - NO CHARGES ARE MADE TO YOUR CARD WHEN MAKING A BOOKING, however, if you cancel with less than 24 hours before your booking or fail to show up, a cancellation fee of $40 per person booked will be taken as specified.

    We are unable to accept Embra Gift Cards to secure a booking. Guests are still welcome to use gift cards towards payment on the evening, however a credit card pre-authorisation is still required to hold the reservation.

    We reserve the right to cancel any reservation that has not been secured and confirmed.

    In the unlikely event that a reservation is cancelled by Embra the restaurant will endeavour to rebook the reservation at a mutually convenient date and time. Embra cannot be held liable for any travel or accommodation costs in relation to a cancellation.

    DIRECTIONS AND PARKING

    We are located at 97A Kaimanawa Street, adjacent to Spa Road. It is an approximate 10 minute walk from Taupo CBD.
